It’s the election that divided the nation and shocked the world.
And now Khloe Kardashian has been forced to deny she voted for Donald Trump after tweeting that Presidential election would “make history”.
On Tuesday night Khloe had posted: “I guess whichever way you look at it, history will be made tonight. Spread love, not hate.”
But one Twitter user felt that this implied the reality star had voted for the President-Elect and was quick to critisise her.
Posting her tweet the user wrote: “Khloé said that… I lost all the respect I had for you khloekardashian .”
But Khloe hit back and wrote: “I’m not sure how this tweet implied I voted for trump. Im with HER.” (sic)
Khloe’s fans were quick to back her up with one posting: “You lost all respect for her because she says to spread love, not hate? wowz.”
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star replied: “Yeah… Im confused too.”
Another member of Khloe’s family has hit headlines today, after many appealed to Kanye West to run for President.
At last year’s MTV VMAs Kanye said he would make a bid for the White House, and following the shock outcome of last night’s vote, with Trump being named President-Elect, many appealed to Kanye to stand by his promise.
Earlier this year Kanye spoke to BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac and said: “”When I talk about the idea of being president, I’m not saying I have any political views,”
“I don’t have views on politics, I just have a view on humanity, on people, on the truth. If there is anything that I can do with my time and my day, to somehow make a difference while I’m alive I’m going to try to do it.”
