The superstar split from the DJ back in May
Taylor Swift’s fans have been waiting for the album of ultimate shade since her split from Calvin Harris turned bitter.
And while she’s still in the studio working on her own music, she has written a new break-up track for country band Little Big Town, and the superstar DJ might not be too pleased when he hears it.
The song Better Man, released on October 20, tells the story of a jealous ex-boyfriend, and the band’s lead singer Karen Fairchild claims it was “really special” to Taylor.

The lyrics include: “But your jealousy, I can hear it now / You’re talking down to me like I’ll always be around.
“You push my love away like it’s some kind of loaded gun / Boy, you never thought I’d run.
“I know I’m probably better off all alone / Than needing a man who could change his mind at any given minute / And it’s always on your terms.”
She then goes on: “I gave you my best and we both know you can’t say that/ We might still be in love, if you were a better man.”

A source told The Sun Online it’s not a “huge leap” to imagine this song is a dig at her ex, who she ended things with back in May before embarking on a short romance with actor Tom Hiddleston.
They said: “Her split from Tom Hiddleston in September was more amicable and happened just before the song came out, so he probably needn’t worry about the lyrics.
“Calvin is her only other known boyfriend since she released 1989 in 2014. His ears must be burning pretty hard right now.”
But Calvin appeared to have got his own back first by dropping the video for his song My Way, which documented a failed relationship with a ‘robotic’ girl. Ouch.
