The actress was also quizzed about a possible Desperate Housewives reunion
Newlywed Eva Longoria sat down with Wendy Williams today to talk about married life and baby plans.
The star tied the knot with Spanish media mogul José ‘Pepe’ Bastón on May 21, 2016, and says she couldn’t be happier.
“Where do you meet a billionaire?” the US TV host asks the actress who looks stunning in a striking red form-fitting dress.
“A friend of ours introduced us in Mexico City. Twice he tried to set us up and we were like, ‘Hey, hey’.
“It was love at second sight because the second time I met him I was like, “Who’s that?’ My friend was like, That’s the one I’ve been trying to set you up with!’
“And I was like, ‘That is not him – he is gorgeous!’ We call him Mr Fancy Pants because he dresses so well. He dresses way better than I do.”
Wendy then moves onto the pair’s extravagant nuptials, telling her: “I liked the wedding. Only 80 people and Ricky Martin performed?”
“Ricky wasn’t meant to sing. The band played Living La Vida Loca and he jumped up on stage! And then I jumped up on stage. It was low-key. It was in my backyard at our lake house and Victoria did the dress.”
Asking about her other half’s children, Wendy enquires: “So now you’re step mum to three kids?”
“A 20-year-old girl and a boy and a girl twins that are about to be 13.”
“Do you feel pressure to have kids?”
Turning to the audience Wendy tells them Eva was previously married to Tony Parker, who reportedly cheated on her, and “what not” as Eva lets out an awkward giggle.
“We’ve just got married, we celebrated our five month anniversary,” she replies, suggesting they have no plans for kids just yet.
“I saw a picture of you and I think they added wieght.”
“Everybody says I look pregnant and I’m like what? I had a burger!”
The pair then discuss tattoo removal as Eva recently got some of her old ink erased.
“Eva recently removed her exes from her body… I don’t know why you got that to begin with,” the host laughs.
“First of all, Obama said that to me when I was campaigning for him in 2012. I used to have my old wedding date here and Obama goes, ‘Now, was that a good idea?’ so I went and took it off a month after that.
“But I had everything – I had a star, I had a rose, I had a cross – it wasn’t just from my ex-husband. I don’t like them.
“What’s a good idea today is not necessarily a good idea in 20 years.”
The actress was also asked if there’s a Desperate Housewives reunion in the pipeline.
“You women and you Sex and The City women – I desperately love you both,” Wendy gushes.
“I miss being Gabi – and I miss being that thin too. That was 12 years ago.”
Shutting down any rumours of the show coming back, Eva continued: “No, there’s no reunion that we know of. We only went off air four years ago. It seems like longer but I feel like it’s not quite long enough.”
